What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website you visit. They allow the site to remember information about your visit — such as your login state, preferences, and how you navigate — so that your next visit and the pages you see are more useful to you.

Cookies set by the website you are visiting are called first-party cookies. Cookies set by services other than the one you are visiting are called third-party cookies.

How We Use Cookies

SR Innovations uses cookies for three purposes: to keep your account secure while you are signed in, to understand how merchants interact with our platform so we can improve it, and to remember the display preferences you set.

We do not use cookies to build advertising profiles, sell data to third parties, or track you across websites unrelated to SR Innovations.

Types of Cookies We Use

Strictly Necessary

Cannot be disabled

These cookies are required for the platform to function. They include session tokens that keep you logged in and CSRF tokens that protect form submissions from malicious requests. Without these cookies, core features of the app will not work. You cannot opt out of strictly necessary cookies while using the service.

Analytics Cookies

Can opt out

Analytics cookies help us understand which pages merchants visit, which features they use most, and where they encounter friction. All data collected is anonymized — we cannot identify individual users from analytics data. You may opt out by adjusting your browser settings (see Section 6).

Preference Cookies

Can opt out

Preference cookies remember choices you make about how the platform looks and behaves — for example, whether you prefer dark mode or a specific language. Clearing these cookies will reset your preferences to defaults on your next visit.

Third-Party Cookies

When you install a SR Innovations app through the Shopify App Store, Shopify sets its own cookies as part of the merchant authentication and session management flow. These cookies are governed by Shopify's Privacy Policy, not this one. SR Innovations does not control the cookies Shopify sets, nor does it have access to the data they contain.

Our marketing site may also load Google Analytics scripts, which set the _ga and _gid cookies described in Section 4. Google's use of these cookies is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

Managing Your Cookie Preferences

Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies through their settings. Below are links to the cookie management instructions for the most common browsers. Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent the SR Innovations platform from functioning correctly.

You can also opt out of Google Analytics across all websites by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Do Not Track Signals

Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" (DNT) setting that sends a signal to websites requesting that they not track your browsing activity. There is currently no legally binding requirement for websites to respond to DNT signals, and no universal standard for how they should be interpreted.

SR Innovations does not currently respond to DNT signals. If a legal or industry standard is adopted in the future, we will update this policy accordingly.

Updates to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the cookies we use or in applicable law. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we will also notify merchants via email or an in-app banner.

Your continued use of the SR Innovations platform after a policy update constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
